Well we rode over there to see for ourselves and welp, I didnt see the sign so we called the feller we had heard it from and he said that there was a sign and somebody may have taken it down or put it up in the first place because after all BoBlairsville afterall was supposed to be Hooters now wasnt it? lol!

Whatever is going in up there, looks to me to be as set as Ellijay was when they started all their grading. Multi dollars are moving dirt - not just place for a lil strip mall. Whatever is coming there.. I am excited and cant wait to see. BR is growing and it looks good too. Does not look a bit trashy or corrupted to me. Apparently, change isnt hurting them from what my eyes has seen today.

Also, 21.00 to get your license for 5 yrs now and 35.00 for a ten year license... the authoritys there are no longer part of the State Troopers division and its now called DDS. They arent in the blue uniforms anymore.

Generally you can tell what stores are coming into a developing area by the name of the development company. The prime developer in that project does link Home Depot and Wal Mart as well as Lowes and Walmart, and if enough land is available they will construct a Krogers. The out parcels then attract restaurants. It looks as if the pieces are in place for this to be a Wal Mart. But, in my travels I have seen the same developer insert a Target, so who knows, time will tell.

I remember when Blue Ridge was only 3 steps above a run down dump, but look at it now. That is what progressive leadership and desire to change for the better will do. But! it will never happen in Union until alcohol is allowed to be sold in the discount stores and grocery stores. The big stores will not waste the money or time to build here.

Well when I went down to Mercier's I saw all that development and it's big. The thing is cramming it all on that side of the road is going to cause traffic issues for all involved. Going up and down the freeway, etc.

Why don't they spread out development? It's going to make more lights.

Either way a Target there or whatever is close enough for me, I enjoy the ride.

I was shocked what all they got done this week alone.

Looking good!

I wonder when they are going to start expanding Ingles? It has been almost a year since Unforgiven told us about it and nothing has happened.

I don't know why they would need to, it's never been crowded when I've gone in there.

No Cherry, it is not crowded with people, but they could carry a lot more products if they expanded the stores. Have you noticed how full the isles are with display stuff. They just don't have the room to put all the products out. I wanted some laura lynn oyster crackers and they will still in the box, so I had to ask if I could open the box. There was no place to put them on the shelf.

Well I rarely go in there. I go to the cheap places first and go to Bi-Lo and Ingles for either last minute emergency items or meat only.

I know what prices I get things for and I hate getting ripped off.

Does not matter if I win the lottery I refuse to get a bad deal.

My Dad was a big investor and he taught me to search for a deal. It's in my blood.

Now, now Coosa aren't you involved in a money saving challenge?

You wanta win fast? Go to Sav a lot and you will be WAY ahead of the game.

However ifin ya don't then I will have more choices for my family.

We like a good deal and hate to pay 88 cents for corn when I can get it for 33 cents. It's the same thing, but you're just willing to pay lots more for it, cause your store is cuter than mine.

Yes, I am involved in a money saving challenge, but I don't eat corn. Mostly all I buy is junk food and they don't carry much of that. Wal mart is probably cheaper too.

Well I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings, but I think the new log office building looks out of place.

I don't think it looks out of place, it's a nice building to see instead of a metal warehouse. BUT....that color they painted the logs. YUCK!! LOL

I think the color will be okay if they put in some landscaping. I get kinda tired of the "natural" color. However, any color is better than the instant cocoa color of my house.

Because it doesn't "need" painting yet. I can live with it for another couple of years then have it painted some other color that is a bit more "cheerful".

I dont know where that color actually spawn from but like Fawn said, it will look better once its finished. Lil premature right now still. They were gonna go for a black metal roof but changed their minds I think, best I can recall anyways.

With all the different TYPES of things.. I dont think much looks outta place. I use to say that about a place on the four lane in Blue Ridge but now, LOTSA log stuffs and it seems to be the going thing here and I sure AINT GONNA GRUMBLE! :) Im quiet thankful!
