By what's on the trucks and the porch railing, it looks to be well over an inch here...and it's still snowing!

Looks like it is about 25 in B'ville, but with the wind chill, it feels like 19.

Bundle up all.

Hunny says when the snow lays around and does not totally disappear to look for another snow to follow... we still have a bit out here... does any one else? Is it finally over?

We have a freeze watch tonight. Right now it is about 53 and falling. Gee, I gotta find a long sleeve shirt to wear tomorrow. The two I have I've already wore Sunday and today. Gotta dig around in the closet for another shirt!

emailnews@wsbtv.com 3:25 pm (1 minute ago)

Issued at: 3:20 PM EST 2/18/06, expires at: 11:30 PM EST 2/18/06

Winter weather advisory in effect until midnight est tonight.
The NWS in peachtree city has issued a winter weather advisory, which is in effect until midnight est tonight.
Precipitation will continue to spread across north georgia this afternoon and evening. Temperatures already near freezing will fall into the 20s overnight. Any rain falling this afternoon will mix with and then likely changeover to sleet and freezing rain. As temperatures continue to decrease, precipitation may change completely to snow. Light accumulations will be likely on bridges and overpasses as well as exposed surfaces such as trees, power lines and bridges.
While the precipitation is expected to taper off overnight, the cold temperatures will cause any water or slush on roadways to freeze overnight.
A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
