Well I hope they don't move, their location is great and view as well.

Went to Paci's pizza in Hiawassee for lunch, yum! Fabulous! You will never need more than one slice, their slices are huge.

I heard that their lease was up. I wish they would move here to Blairsville, but that won't happen. Dos Geckos is waiting for the plumbers and electricians before they can open. It will be several more weeks!!

My gecko just came in. Gary just put it together. It lights up and the head and tail move. I am giving it to Joan for her new restaurant, Dos Geckos. We had "company" for dinner at Monets last night!

Kentucky Fried Chicken has a score of 90 from the Health Department at present. The selection of chicken on the buffet bar was rather limited with only backs, thighs, and wings. Still, it's a good place to fill up when feeling exceptionally hungry.

I have never eaten at the buffet, as I only like chicken with white meat. I love getting a bucket to take home. Then Gary has dinner, plus 2 lunches and I just make rice or something to go with it.

Well on our way to Atlanta last night we stopped in Towns Center and went to Maccaroni grill, have veal scallopini, it was sooooo good!

The whole family walked away very happy and very full.

I'd be awful surprised if you didn't get free chips for counting to five or even not counting. It seems to be a expected requirement for any restaurant that serves Mexican or Tex-Mex food.

Has anyone been to Steve's Steakhouse? I believe it used to be the Cookie Jar.

I hear that they have a good buffet from my BIL.

I have not been, because I heard otherwise, but I do not know.

Went to see it and was not interested.

I'm sure it's good.

Well Grey a friend of mine and her husband used to work for Steve and I dont think I will ever eat there again after all I heard. Maybe I'll email ya the gossip and you can decide for yourself. Maybe you'll even tell your BIL not to go there.

I've had lunch there.
It was nothing special ( in my opinion). I havn't been back, but I would probably go again , just to make sure it wasn't an off day , for them and me. LOL
But a lot of folks eat there regular, so they must like it.
Buffet style, so quick for the folks that need to hurry up and eat and get back to work. Am sure they have a menu also.

Welll.. lol Ga Ive graded restrs. on my worst days and been proven wrong too.lol ;)

We can go and a waitress charges us for the kids and the bill is over 50 bucks for the buffet and then we can go and then not get charged for the kids.. Im still confused about that but Downtown Pizza is priced great for familys if you can keep the kids outta the play area until after theyve eaten. hehe!

Monte Albans is stillll my fav by far.

One of my best friends works some at the Catfish Corner but hunny doesnt like the atmosphere there.. I dont know why.. I get a I JUST DONT when I ask. He dont like the smell of fish for one thing but he did great when me and some cuz's tried out Mikes but it didnt smell fishy either.. Just looked fishy..

Daniels in Hiawassee is great. I like it too but again.. Hunny dont, he is really not what youd call a people person.. ummm.. he dont like crowds, he dont like lots of loudness or noisey areas like the Waffle houses where they scream the stuff out and beat pots and pans.

Mine and his taste in food and lotsa thangs are different so we only eat at a few places. He hates paying good money for canned food too he said.. I agree there too!
