Went to dinner after soccer & ballet to Cobb's Mill. Saw the usual there!! LOL They didn't have any guest when we left, so hopefully they had a nice evening with themselves!

Gee Maddie...why didn't you all go and sit with them? I am sure they would have enjoyed the company.

Yeah, Maddy, bet they are really lonely just sitting there all by thenselves. Just the two of them! Across from each other, looking in each others eyes. Yup, bet they were lonely!

pinkpig, it's a joke that I think Coosa herself would appreciate because she's had a problem with uninvited guests that sit down with them of late.

But they sit next to each other rather than across from each other, Gray.

Ya know piggy, I was joking and thought the was a clear indication of that. I bet even Maddy understood that!

Now Coosa, If I offended you, then I am sorry.

No offense, I knew you were joking. We seem to attract uninvited guests several times a week that sit with us for an hour when we really would like to be alone.
Of course, here I am bugging Maddy about the new restaurant, while she is eating her salad, so I was bad! Gary tried the new fish dish, talapia (no idea how it is spelled) and said it was one of the best things he has had in a long time.

Everybody kids me about it. I think it is funny that Maddy said, I saw the usual at Monet's last night. Do you know what they write on our bill, THE USUAL! One time we had a new girl, I told her to just write the usual. She said I can't, so I ordered. They sent her back and told her to write, the usual!! I am pretty predictible.

I checked out Mike's seafood last night. I wanted to see a menu, but they were so crowded and I never saw a waitress. There were a dozen people standing in line at the counter and I saw no hostess, so I don't know if you stand in line and get your own food or what?
The place was crowded so the food must be good. They had a large screen tv on, which i don't care for. The main thing I saw was styrofoam cups and people eating out of paper baskets.
I don't know if this is temporary or not. I will check them out again when they are less crowded!

It's getting to be impossible to say anything on the forum without someone getting riled up or at least pretending to be riled up to cause conflict. For pete's sake, enough of this nonsense already.
Coosa...I'm sure that you know you were being kidded.

Coosa, I do know that the few times we went into the old place, you ordered at the counter, and then they bring your food out to you. Drinks were self serve as well.
Probably will remain that way...but don't let that keep you away...the food is excellent!! And yep they do have menus. :)

I am sure they have menus, I just couldn't get close enough to get one. That explains why they were standing in line. I thought it was a to go line! So they really don't have waitresses?

Muffy's Mountain Burgers & Such has the same kind of setup. You go up front, make your order, take your drinks back to the table, and they bring the food out to you.

I knew that about Muffy's, good burgers too!! I thought Mike's had a good steak? How can you eat that with plastic ware? I thought we had found a new place to hide! I understand brown bagging is allowed at Mike's.

Yea, I thought Mac told us Mike had a great steak. I might be wrong? So they have chicken or anything like that? Hamburgers? I am a real plain eater!

Across the street from the Hallmark. Yes...they're open for lunch. Also, they've got a fish fry from 3-8pm on Fridays.
