I'm anxious too. I like seafood and have never been disappointed with anything I've eaten there or brought home to cook.

We took our friends to Amici's last night for supper. Had a wonderful time with them. I had the Shrimp fav Diablo ( I think that is the way to spell it) Tails on boiled shrimp, pasta, and the pasta sause was the "diablo". Very spicy and very wonderful.

Joy had the Veal Parmasian, our friends had a antipasta salad and Lasagna. I got to finish Joy's leftovers tonight for supper!! woo hoo!

If or when I ever make it down to Miami, that's the first place I'm going to for some fine dining!
Sounds yummy.

Dinner at Monet's, prime rib for Gary, usual for me. when i order, they just write usual. We had a new waitress one night and I told her that, she said the kitchen wouldn't let her, so I ordered and she came back and said, they (kitchen) told me to write "usual"

Yesterday we ate at the Lake Lanier Marina, best crab legs I ever had.

I told her so and she said it's what she boils them in, her secret ingredients.

Wonder what they were? It was super tasty!

Im gonna give him a few days to have the grand opening affects.lol

We ate at the old Chinese restr. the other nite and it was fabulous! No it does not look to be the same bunch but its fabulous with lots of spirit and attenative staff. The bar was excellent... MADDY THEY HAD THEM SHRIMPS THERE THAT I LOVE SO MUCH.. YEAH... MADE MYSELF SICK!LOL AND OF COURSE THE MSG STUFF..LOL It was good! They are in need of table clothes or place mats... but the food and service was A+ from us for whatever that is worth!

I guess that is the only chinese restaurant in town. they never seem busy tho. We did not eat at Monets last night and I am glad. One of our "visitors" had already told us he was stopping by to see us. We went to a friend's house for dinner.

I had lunch with some friends yesterday at "J & J cafe". (shopping center behind kfc) It was yummy! The lobster bisque was awesome! Best I've ever had. (a wed. special) Great sandwiches too.

I forgot about that place. We rode by but it had not opened yet. We ate at Monets. Had a visitor, but he did not stay too long this time.

That is right, I forgot about that one. I don't think they got a very good health score last time.

Met up with super fly Butterfly for lunch today at Muffy's Mountain Burgers & Such today (which has a 100 for a score from the Health Department, by the way).

I had the chicken-fried chicken sandwich (minus the bacon) and Butterfly had their regular burger. They put mustard on their burgers, so if you're not into that you need to ask them to hold it when you place your order. The food is always made to order, so it was piping hot when they called out my name to come get the food.

Good food and good conversation = a good lunch. Thanks, Butterfly!
