Why don't you try to just buy a table from Joan and Dave?
What sort of restaurant are they going to put in the Old Village?

Depends on if you have the whiskey already in the house or not. It's $14.99 a bottle (it's a square bottle with a wooden cork topper). So, it's a lot cheaper to make the homemade version! (but I'm a sucker for fancy bottles!)

Well we went to the Texas Steakhouse in SC and that was awesome.

On our way into town last night we stopped at Shoney's, boy was that a mess! We won't be going there again.

The weird thing is the Shoney's in TN was sooooo good.

Maddy,

Let's Get Cooking is great. I forgot to recommend that one to Middle for a more of a "fine dining" restaurant.

We went there for dinner for my birthday last year. The menu is small and changes every week.

Fine dining; but you necessarily have to dress for it and prices are good.

Oops!

I meant to say:

". . . you DON'T necessarily have to dress up"

Where is, Let's get cooking?? We ate at Monets on Friday night. Some friends we know came in and sat behind us. They had been to Ollie's to eat but had to leave. They said there is nothing but seafood on the menu and he is allergic to seafood. I would have to leave too, because I don't like seafood.

Coosa,

LET'S GET COOKING! is right off the entrance to Ramey Mountain.

You will see the sign just before you turn left into the community, and then you turn right into The Shoppes of Fieldstone. The entrance faces away from the highway and it looks like a little house.

It was opened as a kitchen shop/wine shop/cooking school/catering business, and then Chef Pamela decided to have a dining area in the middle of her kitchen shop.

The dining area is very small, so you should get a reservation for dinner. The dinner menu is also small, but changes constantly. The lunch menu stays the same.

You might want to ask them what's on the menu beforehand.

Did you notice the score Cherry?
Golden Gate is under new owners. Wonder if that's any good.

I dunno. I was asking Cherry. She went there. You have to walk over to the right side of the counter, like you're going to the bathroom to see the darn thing! (they had it in hiding)
