I understand that the owners of Grinds and Glazes bought the Imperial Palace from Koo, (In Front of Crossroads) and are going to put a steak house there.
Also Donna's is moving to a larger facility. Don't know where yet, can anyone help with this?

I wish someone would put another steakhouse in Crossroads! Went there once and swore I would never go back because of the standoffish waitress and the quality of my steak.

Seems kind of odd that they would put a steakhouse in Imperial Palace since it's so close to Crossroads. But, they might as well change it to something else now that the owners have opened Asianos.

I haven't been to Donna's yet, but I have heard it's very good. Although, I did call them once to ask a question and the woman who answered was very abrupt. Anyone have any feedback about the place?

Middle age, when is Mike's seafood going to be open. I have got to find a place to go to, where we won't have people bothering us all the time.(sitting with us, not just talking to us)

Coosa, thats funny in a odd way.. we go out to socialize and stay home when we are too tired or into being alone to be around others.

For 20.00 a nite yall could have a big ole feast to yuns selves without company at home.

I'm not attempting to answer for Coosa, DoC but IMHO the main reason would be, because someone would have to clean up the mess.
I don't mind cookin it but I sure hate cleaning up the mess I make.

Yes I do too.lol However if it were to the point where I couldnt enjoy my meal, Id sure do rather clean it up as to be hindered from my main purpose of the event all together.

I know how it is to be in a restr and wanna crawl under the table or in a grocery store stuck for about an hour talking to someone who had been getting a divorce for the last 10 years and everytime you see them they are so miserable and hate this and hate that and says they are getting a divorce for 10 years did I say that?lol ;). Yeah, I know how it is in those situations and Ive learned the less you say or respond in those situations, the more they will get bored and SOMETIMES stop hindering.

Amen to that. I hate it when they constantly ask for advice too, I got a friend like that. I've learned to stonewall and change the subject really fast.

that's when you just want to say, "well, what are you waiting for"?
or, "you got more cheese for that whine?"
Mike's is looking huge! Can't wait to try it out.

And yep! Let me guess, ask for advice and then do the opposite.. uh huh! I KNOW I KNOW. Stonewalling is being nice. ;)

That is funny. The gal that introduced me to my husband was like that. She complained for hours about how unhappy she was with her husband all the time. We hated to get stuck with her or go out to eat with them because we heard the same things over and over. We just got an invitation to their 50th wedding anniversary party.
No, I mostly like to eat out because it is like a date to me. Plus I hate having the tv on all night.
My husband was raised to eat dinner with the tv on, and I was not. So we go out! Maybe it will be quiet tonight!!
