Then that is what Cherry needs. After hearing about your skin problem, I would never want to tan again. When I was young,we use to mix iodine (merichome) and baby oil and put it on. We sure were greasy back then.

Well, Ingles is full, and if you want to buy flowers for mother's day, forget it, there is practically no flowers left!

Does anyone know what happened to Butt's Antiques?? It's empty.

It took me a bit, but I found it. Butt's Antiques has moved in closer to town. They're on Rogers Street now, just behind the dry cleaners, and just right of where the DFACS used to be.

Well I went to the store and they had no chips left and when I said something about that, she said they ran out of cigarettes as well. Guess it was a busy weekend out there.

Has anyone heard anything more about the building going on by the home depot in Blue Ridge?

They are pouring a concrete pad next to Louise McTaggart's real estate office. I wonder what that is going to be??

This is from a person who works for the development authority in Blue Ridge. She said that Kroger & Walmart are both in a war for it.
I pray it's Kroger!

Me too! We need another grocery store around here and if I can't have Publix, Kroger will do just fine. I am just about over the local BiLo and Ingles. Both seem poorly run, not well stocked, have outdated products on the shelves. I feel cheated spending so much money in such unattractive stores. Until Kroger is built, I guess I will drive to Murphy and shop at the Ingles there and WalMart for some items. (Sorry Maddy!)

From where I live Blue Ridge would be much further than Murphy and probably more crowded, I'll stick with Murphy for my shopping.

Don't blame you, Fawn.

Murphy has the best Ingles.

Hiawassee's is okay, but management could still take a few lessons from the Murphy store.

I'm so happy that our home depot is so organized. The one down in Morrow near my sisters is SO messed up. Grills over in the paint department, no wallpaper section at all. Appliances over near the garden section & over near the blinds. Messed up.

Well, it may be a kroger. I had very good inside info. Actually one of the developers of the blue ridge site. he said it was to be a Dairy Queen, krystal and wallmart. The DQ is now happening, I think Krystal may be second thinking after walmart seemed to be wishy washy.

Well if it is a Kroger, maybe I'll finally find out what that is? I've never been in one.

Instead of turning off like youre going to Brasstown Bald, from 129 S. keep going and its the cute lil gas station on your right before the mountain. If you see Vogel, you have gone too far. Very nice lil country store. I forgot to add that we also bought boiled pnuts and got sick again going across the mountain.lol
