It is going up SUPER fast. I dropped my boys clothes at the thrift shop and nothing was there, but dirt and now, walah!So fast. Cherry Blossom

I heard they are putting up a wall in the yacht club seperating the bar and family area. Anyone see how small the yacht club is? Where is the wall going?I think it's a bad idea, the place is so nice as it is. Cherry Blossom

LOL but not lol! Nelly, haha at the local rumors stuff because when I worked at a place for ever since I was lil I heard it was gonna shut down.. that was the gossip for 20 something years that I recall of anyways.. and welp.. took that gossip 20 yrs but it did in fact shut down.. I dont think it had anything to do with the gossip tho.

Looks like they are building a big motel over in Murphy! I noticed the real estate office by Bi Lo was open on Sunday. They must get lots of lookers.

I heard that about the yacht club too from the staff. They said they are taking the fly shop next door out and putting the "family" side over there.

Is that for sure about the bear paw? An antique store? Hummmm?As far as Yacht Club, I'm not guaranteeing anything, but my source is a good one, being their lawyer and all. However it's just what I heard, it's not on paper or a contract or anything. Yep I figured they would take the fly shop and do something that way. It all would not work as it is, it's not that big, but it sure is popular and nice. I like the Yacht Club. Cherry Blossom

On the Yacht Club . . . my business partner was in there a month ago and they said they were just going to build a wall between the tables and the bar.Maybe they've realised they needed more space since then. Wildflower |

Went to GEMSTONE CREATIONS in Hiawassee yesterday for a watch battery.I was impressed! Their print ads had always discouraged my curiosity, because the jewelry looked sooooo predictable. But the ads don't do justice to their merchanise. I was pleasantly surprised. Lot's of colorful gemstones and the newer, whimsical, light feminine styles of today. Wildflower |

We went to the eye doctor in that little shopping center behind KFC. There is a new lawyer's office there that just specializes in home and land closings. Boy, this is a busy place!!

My MIL used that Dr. last year. She liked him.
They have Carvel Ice Cream cakes at Bilo!!! How kewl is that?! I bought an M&M cake for a friend of ours. He just turned 5!

New store just opened up where the old Humane Society Thrift Store used to be. C & T Products They carry personal care and paper items for your home. Things like Tide shampoo moisturizers soap Kleenex Gain Cascade Lysol toilet bowl cleaner Swiffer Wet Jet Kits and pads Febreeze, etc. Pretty competitive prices too. Stop by and see them. Dont know their hours though sorry

If you're talking about the flower shop they are now on 129 S across from Circle K? I think they are going back to the old shop but I'm not sure.
