Anybody have any information on the reliability and quality of this builder? They advertise a reasonably priced house in NGN. |

I highly recommend James Bridges. Highly recommended by his customers and is very honest with his customers. James' phone number is: (706) 897-0217. He is fully licensed to build in Georgia.GrayEagle <:))))<>< "Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act." Greetings, BR! Hope your hubby is doing better! Our house is about 70-75% finished. Lots of fun working with our builder, James Bridges, and his crews. Really am very pleased with his professionalism and the professionalism of his crews.GrayEagle <:))))<>< "Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. God will not hold us guiltless. Good to hear from you, Blue Rose. I had heard that you moved back to Michigan. That is where my husband was born. BTW, my husband is an excellent builder also. His name is Gary and his phone number is 745-1309. He has been licensed in this area for over 25 years and does all the work himself. No crews at all, except for a small framing crew which he participates in. He is the only builder whose name is mentioned in the MLS when one of his houses goes on the market, cause all the realtors recognize the quality of his work.

All kidding aside, Peak homes builds very inexpensive homes. They keep the wages for their crew very low and use the lowest costing materials. If an inexpensive home is what you are looking for, I am sure Peak homes can fill the bill.

James Bridges has been building in this area over 30 years. He uses specialized and local crews when building and helps many families and local economy. One employe has been with him over 20 years. He has been licensed in UC as long as licensing has been required. No one in UC has been licensed for 25 years.GrayEagle <:))))<>< "Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. Hey Gray. Pat knows James Bridges because he built on one of our lots in Deerfield. It's the first home on the left and he is a very nice man. Glad you hooked up with him and yes he does beautiful work.

Sorry, but my husband has been licensed to build for over 20 years. He got licensed to build in North Carolina because no licenses were required in Georgia until just a few years ago. He had to pass a rigid written test in order to get a license plus he has to provide a full financial statement every year in order to keep his license. His license is N.C.26990. The georgia licenses did not require a test. The builders were grandfathered if they had built 3 houses.BTW, the guy that does our grading work is a licensed builder now. He has never picked up a hammer and hires everything out. Edited by - coosa creek on 08/12/2011 3:28:36 PM |
