WF, did you ever hear any more on this lawsuit? I'm interested in what the end result was.

No idea.

But I myself had a situation on a very curvy road with a Towns County cop tailgating me (bumper-to-bumper) with his bright lights on. It was distracting and dangerous because I kept looking in my rear view mirror to watch him. I had no idea what was "wrong". Eventually, he drove away.

So I called the Sheriff's office and complained about it. The cop I talked to was very nice and professional, and he agreed that it was wrong and dangerous.

I never felt the Towns County cops were overzealous prior to these incidents. I guess some people deserve a badge ... and some don't.

Shadowman, haven't heard anything, but was in Gainesville for a Social Security disability hearing and "overheard" some attorneys talking about it. It appears the case will be tried either in Atlanta or Gainesville. Either way it will be in federal court since it is a discrimination case.
