an fellow member of german tactical forum did post that video here, i find its an great idea in case you cant heat your place in an emergency.

**** since fire is involved be careful and use common sense! ***

if i posten in the wrong place then admin please move it.

the idea is to use household items for heat up an room and eaven cook an little bit on it, warm an soup or tea.

what you use is salad oil, 2 suitable high cans, they can be full or empthy, kitchenpaper, rugs or else, in the video he used toiletpaper, some stones and gravel from the yard around your home, 2 pans of suitable size, one for the bottom part and one for the burned oil smoke catcher on top and this is also the heatplate for cooking.

the video show easy how to do it, the paper is twisted and put in an u shape below some gravel that you have 2 pcs sticking out, each one is say 2 fingers wide apart, so the flames can easy burn. make sure the oil is not only put in the lower pan but also wet the sticking out paperpcs.

the smoke and smell of oil is minimal cause it get catch by the bigger pan, however that may be an mess to clean that up later.

also put an suitable pcs of metal, stone or else below the lower pan as the heat may damage the table... again common sense is needed!

this summer i may make an smaller version out of cans to test it out.

stay warm ya all!
