For you that may not know, war games have been around since early 1800's and are sometimes played using miniatures. HG Wells wrote two book, Floor Games and Little Wars. Most war games are historical, but some games are in hypothetical, fantasy, or science fiction.

I began playing games since I was about 13 and it has taught me various skills such as social skills, bartering skills, politics and reading comprehension (read many manuals). Even though most games are set in a 'combat' situation, it is fun for youths and helps them understand tactics and history.

I am looking for a group of mature players that we could enjoy such games as Tides of Iron, Supremacy, Battlelore or any other you can think of playing. Please email me Cidlett@hotmail.com if you are interested.
