They were taken at our Treehouse in the Ivy Log area.  My BIL took them this week.

Our pleasure to share.  I just wish we were up there to seen them in person!  Maybe next year!

We were on Highway 66 and into Gum Log and there is a lot more color over there than where we live. It was stunning.

They have more Ash trees there, and even some Maples, so the reds are outstanding. My neighborhood is The Land of Poplars, so we have more yellows.

It's pretty out there, but has anyone noticed that the leaves are changing very quickly this season?

I have..it could be because of the dry summer.

The colors are prettier at home than up here in Wears Valley, TN (here for a wedding.) Also much warmer here! I was surprised at the temp difference.

I just love this place,Blairsville. I can hardly wait to move there.I am a country girl at heart, and i am tired of this city here. However the weather is beautiful here right now. Getting used to the cold would be hard but as long as i have flannel shirtsGo to Top of Page
