Lavander, we have one of my nieces and her family living in Conroe, Tx!  Looks like they will get a lot of this storm.

I am worried about Dawg. Has anyone heard from him? He had moved near his mother which I believe was where this Hurricane was headed. He often would message me or leave a comment with me...I have yet not heard from him. Keep him in your prayers. His family. I woke up with them on my mind this morning.

I haven't seen anything from him in a long time.  I thought he lived in west Texas somewhere.

He had/was in the process of moving to East Texas to be closer to his mom. Peachy might have a number in her phone to call him as he often times would call to see how they were. Just had me a bit concerned.

Gray, I just checked Dawg's Myspace...He is in Conroe also. Peachy is out of town but I just sent her a message to check her phone and see if she has a number to get in touch with him. I am hoping he didn't "ride out this storm"...He loved chasing tornadoes and such but surely with his mother there...They evacuated. Surely.

Dawg is Ok! I got this email from his sister:
"I'll let him know. Hes still in big spring but is headed here sunday-just in time for clean up. Ike hit us pretty hard but all is good, thankful it was not worse."

Just thought I'd share with you. It bothered me that he hadn't signed in his space or left any comments anywhere and well...Ya'll who know me know I am a "worry wart" with such.

Kyle is a hurricane now.  However, it looks like he will have LITTLE affect on the U.S.!

Yup, only 64 days left!  Glad to see you out and about!  Wish this place would sell so we can get out of here!

How are your moving plans coming along?

Rouge, I am of the belief that, while the markets and our balances go up and down, we haven't gained or lost anything until we take the money out.  But then, what do I know this early in the morning!

Well there is about 24 more days for this season.  And would you believe we have TS (soon to be hurricane) Paloma out there?  However, it is well to our south and looks like it will track well away from south Florida and to the east.  Looks like Cuba will take the biggest hit.

Yup, it is going to our south and east.  Looks like Cuba is going to get the worst part.  Also, this would not be a good time to go to Great Exuma for fun in the sand or whatever.
