Gray !!!!!!!!!! Thanks for thinking of me and of course, of America!!!!!!!!!!!
I only scored 60% myself - that's kind of embarrasing for such a Made in the USA champion!
I didn't realize that about Dove and Bumble Bee tuna - both products are currently in my home but will not be in the future.
BUY AMERICAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Autos/trucks are difficult...
I recently bought a truck and most of it was made in mexico - I couldn't find a 100% American made truck. I think the fact that the corporation is in the US helps a little.
I read there are some hybrid cars coming out soon that are made in America but I don't have any facts yet - I won't be in the market to replace the car for a few years yet.
Oddly enough, one of the quesitons on the linked quiz above that I got wrong was about Dove soap. I use Dove and was dismayed when I selected it and it didn't prove to be US made. Well, later I looked on one of the boxes to see where it was made and it says "Made in America". So I wonder what's going on there? |

I was watching a program called Gardening by the Yard (HGTV) the other day (actually it was a rerun). They had a segment on Garlic. Gilmore CA is, or was, the Garlic Growing Capital of the World. May not be now, but regardless.......
The person they were interviewing said that China (?) is now exporting a lot of Garlic. One of the easiest ways to tell American grown and China grown is to look at the bottom of the garlic bulb. If the root area has been cut away, it is NOT grown in America.
So...eat more Gilmore Garlic!

Great quiz Mr. Eagle - I am in the Laurel class and this is my big fight in life! The Savannah News recently had some comments in the Vox Populi section of the newspaper that they are fed up with these "big cranes coming into the port from China"! I am closely watching the news on the New York crane accident. When I was growing up WalMart advertised on a big sign in front, "Made in USA". Thankfully Blairsvbille and the envions have great consignment/thrift/second hand stores so I'm doing pretty good on my clothes! PS: My Honda CRV was made in England. Thanks Mr. Eagle for the quiz!!!
