Glad this didnt happen here. A bomb threat occurred at the High School in Fannin County and all but ONE classrooms were cleared. For some stupid reason the school doesnt allow radios or cell phones to be used. Our school system uses radios and boy isnt that a good thing.

If there is an actual bomb, cell phones and radios should NOT be activated. Even emergency responders shut off their radios since some bombs can be detonated by frequency. It is something to be considered if students are allowed to have cell phones when they are in class; if there is a bomb present, one of the kids could be the one to actual set it off.
