Hiya! I need to go out and get some large needles and either nylon/wax coating thick thread or even yarn will do. Where in town is the best place to find something like this?

Many thanks!
Erika

That place Honeybee talks about. A Mountain Yarn I thinks she calls it. Either there or Walmart.

A Mountain Yarn in Blairsville or Wal-Mart.

Not sure what kind of needles you are needing but she has an excellent choice of yarn.

403 Blue Ridge Hwy ... Suite 9 ... practically after the pharmacy if I can remember correctly ... little strip mall of places.

It was exactly what I needed - thanks everyone. :)

Friendly friendly place too :)

Below the Welcome Center and down from the Park & Ride.

Hayesville, NC has A Good Yarn right off the square.

Peachtree, NC has a yarn place that is run by the women who teach at teh Folk School, right below Murphy Medical Center and across from Peachtree Atheletic Center. Thay also have rove so that you can spin your own and several types of home hand died wool. I was in there looking one day and they had som epossum yarn, when I looked closer it was a possum from a different country that was different from ours.
