I find it hard to beleive that they consider Pickens county and Jasper part of metro Atlanta. It takes a good hour to drive from Jaspe to down town Atlanta without traffic.
I would love to know how they defined this. But then, the whole area is growing, no matter what you call it.

Lakey I couldnt agree more. I used to live in Jasper County and it's as country as country can get. Way to far from Atlanta to be considered Metro in my opinion.

The news last week said that Atlanta grew by 1 million people in the last 6 years, making it the fastest growing city in the country.
Does anyone know how often the Electoral College is re-apportioned? Georgia has to be the 5th or 6th largest state next election.

I don't doubt it. It's everywhere and it's been happening very rapidly over the years so this is no surprise. Very very sad. No one wants to fight or help put an end to it b/c it supposedly helps towns/counties. Sure.
