I still have a few. They mostly get into the attic, then come down thru the can lights. We vaccum them up everyday. They go away when it gets warm and swarm in when it gets cold.

Native, Nyquil doesn't work on me either. It keeps me awake & I can't sleep.

Nyquil, (or as my kids called it - Nite-Kill) isn't made the same way anymore. They changed the meds in it because of the meth makers/users. GGrrr!!!
It was always the only thing that kept me from getting really sick as long as I took it when a cold or allergy attack first started. After the last couple of days, I KNOW it doesn't work the way it used to - still feverish, still coughing, still feel yucky - I miss my old Nyquil!!

We're sometimes guilty of this peeve, Vicki.  Accidentally, I may ad.  I almost left ours on as I was watching what tree may fall on my head last night, but went back downstairs to turn them off.  Maybe your neighbor (neighbor) made a mistake too.  Or, they have a spouse who just doesn't pay attention to those sorts of things & the other spouse didn't go behind him (or her) to fix it!!!

I leave mine on alot of nights when my husband isn't here but nobody lives close enough for it to bother them. Tis the magic of over three acres, what peeves me is dogs that bark all night at nothing. If my dog barks it's at a bug or a bee but these dogs bark at nothing. The owner even said that they barked to hear themselves bark.

If at first you don't succeed, do it the way your wife told you to.Go to Top of Page

I have a very old dog who barks at nothing. However, I close her up at 7 at night in the garage and don't let her out til 9 am., so she won't bother anyone.
My neighbors left their flood lights on all night for 10 years and they shone directly into our bedroom window all night long.
I think houses should not have flood lights. All of our outside lights shine directly down and not at the neighbors.

Maybe it was that big party last night!  My dad had a problem just like this & he went over to the guy's house & kindly told him that it was keeping his wife up at night, & could he help him re-direct it to a different angle as not to bother her. (& to keep his life pleasant)  He had no problem with it & took care of it for him.  Problem solved.

We tried that several times. They still kept the lights on.
