This year’s Easter celebration Saturday at Fields of the Wood will include a day of gospel singing, worship, testimonies, greetings from special guests, sermons and conclude with the Easter pageant immediately after sunset. There also will be an Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. Sunday at Fields of the Wood on N.C. 294. McCaysville Church of God will dramatize the Easter story. Special singers will include the Coleman Looper Family from Rickman, Tenn., Victorious from Ranger, The Royal Heirs and 2x2 Quartette, all from Cleveland, Tenn., and others. The days’ agenda will begin around noon and conclude at the end of the Easter story, the resurrection of the Lord. The public is invited.
