MARCH 14 The first “Coffee with the Poets” will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Phillips and Lloyd bookstore on the square in Hayesville. Featured poet in March is Brenda Kay Ledford, author of Shew Bird Mountain poetry chapbook published in 2006 by Finishing Line Press. Poets are invited to participate by bringing an original poem and reading during open mic. This event is sponsored by N.C. Writers Network West, but one doesn’t have to be a member to read at open mic. Everyone is invited. Contact glendabeall@msn.com with questions.
