Correction - I originally listed this as scheduled for the 15th (it's usually the third Thursday of the month), but this month's will actually be on the 22nd.
Thank you to an alert reader for the corrected information.

You know, I have never attended one of these meetings and after reading the accounts of what takes place, I don't think I want to.
Seems to me they are mostly a beechfest and nothing get's accomplished.
Oh for the good ole' days when no one cared what the commissioner was doing, as along as he did a good job.
Who in their right mind would want the job????

Standard kinds of items really:
1. Arbor Day proclamation for February 16 2. Appointment of Jeff Carlin to the Union County Board of Assessors (that my have been a re-appointment. I was looking for my pen briefly) 3. An agreement between Union County and Reynolds Architects for work on the Byron Herbert Farm and Heritage Center Development 4. An agreement between Union County and Hayes James and Associates for planning, engineering, and surveying services related to the Byron Herbert Welcome Center.
It was fairly well attended as Commissioner's Meetings go - I guess about twelve or fourteen people were there.
