MARCH 10 Reservations are being taken for the next free Teddy bear tea party scheduled for Saturday, March 10, at Aunt Bea’s Country Store at Deckers Flea Market on Blairsville Highway, Murphy. The free tea parties are held from 3:30-5 p.m. the second Saturday of each month. Seating is limited and must be reserved in advance. The theme for the March tea party, which will begin at 3 p.m., will be a Mad Hatter tea party, where children will be making their own tea party hats prior to the tea. Space for the March party is limited to ages 8 and older due to the nature of the crafts. Reservations must be made in advance by calling Miss Patricia at 706-745-9627.
