He everyone... Thanks again for helping me with my clothing choices. Decided to leave what we decided on for when I do go to a very special place.
We ended up going to the Cabin in Blue Ridge, the one by Ingles. I had the smoked prime rib and it was really good; melt in your mouth. A lot more than I could eat and I got the smaller serving. The salad bar was adequate, but nothing fancy. As a side I had fried green tomatoes which were crispy, but a little on the thin side.
The management does not mind if you bring in alcohol. Since the person that was ging to bring a bottle of wine forget to bring it. I don't know if they charge a set up fee for it.
The special tonight was snow crab legs for those that are looking for a place to get them. I think it was all you can eat and the price for the crab was $24.99
The server was very friendly and everything looked nice and clean. You can call an hour ahead and they will put your name on the list so it doesn't take as long to be seated. The server said their best sellers is a pecan trout, the prime rib and the BBQ ribs.
I would go there again.

Good one. The Cabin is probably a no-buttocks zone.

Lots of kids and families; no lace buttock cut outs.

I had a good experience and one really bad one there, however I will go there again, it's a nice restraunt and their prime rib sandwich for lunch was great. A salad bar during lunch hour is certainly a plus for me. I like that place and will go again, the crab legs and prime rib are big pluses for this family and hubby loves his ribs.

I have also had good and bad experiences. The first was great, food was excellent, service was the best I have ever had. The second the food was still great but the service was horrible. It was early in the night. Nov. 2006. The girl only had us and one other table. I dont know what she was doing but she would be gone forever before anyone saw her.
I will go back but if they sit me with her I will asked to be moved.
She didnt tell us her name. But the food is excellent!!!!!

Not a fan either. Ive been about a dozen times. Instant Iced tea and the service has always been below average. Until the last time food was always decent, but not particularly good. Last time two in our party got ribs. They were like leather so we sent them back and manager was responsive and said she would take them off the bill. When we got home they took $6 off the bill and not $38 like they said. NEVER GOING BACK! (sadly...one of the better restaurants in the area. No wonder Ive lost weight since moving here!)

The same folks own the little Italian place in downtown Blue Ridge. Been there a few times and the pasta sampler has been really good. The rest has been OK and the calzone god awful. Not good enough to specifically recommend, but good enough for when Im in the mood for Italian and dont want to cook.

I've eaten there once, and my wife and I thought it had one of the better menus and better quality of foods of any restaurant in the area. But, it was also expensive for the area too. The salad bar was the only thing that wasn't too exciting, but it was fairly standard for a North Georgia salad bar.

Same people that own the Cabin and the Italian place also own the Cast Iron Skillet or whatever it's name is (on the 4-lane across from the Cabin).
