We had a good time last night. Shaderette looked smashing, as did all the other ladies there (I think - it's hard for me to take my eyes off my lady when she dresses that way ).We came home with a big box of LP albums that we won in the silent auction, including I think almost every Herb Alpert album made. I would have loved to have gotten the picture of the Walasi-yi center during the live auction, but it quickly got out of my price range. Saw several Blairsville.com-ers there and enjoyed chatting with them. We stayed close to the end of the live auction, but we got a bit anxious as the snow kept coming down. The trip back to Blairsville was uneventful though. The roads were wet rather than icy and we didn't have any problems making our way back home. It's a good thing - I inquired at the front desk if they had any open rooms, just in case the weather continued to get worse, and they were completely booked. We had a great time last night!! I'm glad we had gotten a room there. Nelly was dancing mighty nicely out there with her man! Everyone was beautiful in their evening wear. I love the Tux Mac! I have got to get my hubby in one next year. Shadow, you may want to meet up with my hubby if you want a print of the walasi-yi! "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels" |

Yes, We had a good time too. It was really good seeing everybody, I think this has become a premier social event for our area as well as a fund raiser for S.A.F.E. I just hate it that the weather cut it short for some last night. We were just getting cranked up on the dance floor. Didn't ya like the live music much better?????

Mac, the love music was better indeed. The auctionier as well!"We learn wisdom from failure much more than from success. We often discover what will do, by finding out what will not do; and probably he who never made a mistake never made a discovery."Samual Smiles |
