Cherry, if you & Will have the opportunity to do this, DO IT!! It's one of the finest events that goes on here. It also benefits S.A.F.E., so that's the #1 reason to go. The live/silent auction is fun and the dinner is always good. We got a room there last year too.
A portion of the sale of the ticket is tax deductible too!

I've been to them all. They have gotten better and better too, as it got organized. I've been pushing for the last several years to make it as much a social event as fund raiser.(Without losing sight of what we are there for.) This year when they introduce all the board members and staff, we will ask for input for how we can do even better so be thinking of suggestions. So you can give those suggestions to one of us. Its always been my goal to make this the premier event in the Towns/Union area.

They play a combination, we dance slow, medium and fast with them. Check them out at Moschetto's on the 27th of this month.
Ask Deb about them tomorrow, I think the closing is at 4.

It's black tie, optional! My husband hasn't worn a tie since he left the rat race in Atlanta.

We've always used Harbins on Hospital St. They take FOREVER doing alterations, but we've never had a problem with the dry cleaning.

I bought a tux last year, the complete outfit. Took it to Harbins after the gala and it hangs there now waiting on this year.

Location: Brasstown Valley Resort, Hiawassee

Mark your calendar now for the Seventh Annual S.A.F.E. Gala Dinner, Dance, and Charity Auction. This year’s theme is “Passion to Action!” The Gala will again be held at beautiful Brasstown Valley Resort and the date is SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2007.

The Gala is S.A.F.E.’s primary fundraising event of the year and it’s a great way to have a very special evening out and support S.A.F.E. services and programs at the same time. Look for more details after the holidays or call (706) 379-1901 for more information or to receive a sponsorship advertising package.

S.A.F.E. is the State certified domestic violence and sexual assault program serving Towns and Union Counties with partial funding received from the Georgia Department of Human Resources.

Last year, the Gala started at 5:00pm and tickets were $50 per person. Once updated information about this year's starting time and ticket cost are announced, we'll update it here.

Ticket cost is $50 per person. Starts at 5pm & goes till....

I found a lovely gown in my closet, now if I can loose an inch or more in the waste by then, I won't bust the zipper on that dress.

I'm glad it will work, I was not at all sure.

Maddy save us those tickets.
