Where can we find a copy of who will be on the upcoming election ballots? For those of us, who are new here, and would like to do some more research into the candidates, so that we can make a more informed voting decision! I already have a couple in mind, based on "word of mouth" I have heard, television and newspaper ads, as well as mailers. However, I would really like to see who is what in which categories, and do some research first. I hate blind voting. I did that once, and really was not happy with myself, afterwards. I will not make that mistake again. I want to make a decision that I feel good about, as best I can. |

There will likely be sample ballots in this weeks newspapers. However for information on Republican Candidates, go to uniongop.org and also gagop.org. I hope that this helps you to reach the wise decisions that you seek. I also want to thank you for taking the interest that you have and wish that more would do likewise.

The Sentinel has the example ballot online at: Page 1 Page 2 See http://lpe.ajc.com/votersguide/general/area/27 for the Atlanta Journal and Constitution's 2006 Voter's Guide (may have to register to access, but it's free)
Also, from the Secretary of State's office: http://www.sos.state.ga.us/cgi-bin/qualifyingindex.asp
