THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.
DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED FOR NORTH AND MUCH OF
CENTRAL GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON.

.SYNOPSIS...
SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD OVER THE AREA TODAY AND CONTINUE
THROUGH TONIGHT.

.PRIMARY THREAT...
THE PRIMARY THREAT WILL BE THE COMBINATION OF LOW RELATIVE
HUMIDITIES AND DRY FUEL MOISTURES OVER NORTH AND MUCH OF CENTRAL
GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON. THIS WILL CREATE DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS.

.DISCUSSION...
A DRIER AIRMASS WILL MOVE OVER THE AREA TODAY. THIS WILL ALLOW
RELATIVE HUMIDITIES TO DROP TO 25 PERCENT OR LESS FOR 4 HOURS OR
MORE THIS AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.
DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED FOR CENTRAL GEORGIA
SATURDAY AFTERNOON. THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS MONDAY
THROUGH THURSDAY.

...PATCHY FROST POSSIBLE TONIGHT ACROSS MUCH OF NORTH GEORGIA...

A COLD CANADIAN AIRMASS WILL BUILD OVER THE SOUTHEAST UNITED
STATES TODAY. THIS WILL BRING MUCH DRIER AND COLDER AIR TO THE
REGION. AS THE AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE SETTLES OVER GEORGIA TONIGHT...
WINDS WILL BECOME NEAR CALM ALONG WITH CLEAR SKIES. THIS WILL ALLOW
TEMPERATURES TO DROP INTO THE MID AND UPPER 30S ACROSS MUCH OF
NORTH GEORGIA. WHILE WIDESPREAD FROST IS NOT EXPECTED... PATCHY
FROST WILL BE POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY IN LOW LYING AND SHELTERED AREAS. AT
THIS TIME...IT APPEARS THE MORE FAVORABLE LOCATIONS FOR PATCHY
FROST WILL BE GENERALLY ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM LAGRANGE...TO
FORSYTH...TO GAINESVILLE.

SENSITIVE PLANTS SHOULD BE COVERED OR BROUGHT INSIDE IF POSSIBLE
BEFORE FRIDAY NIGHT.
