Has anyone had frost yet? The following possible lows on Friday and Saturday may produce some (more?).

Friday: Partly cloudy, with a high near 60.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 35.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 66.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 37.

I think the search for the elusive "First Frost" is soon to be over....

...FIRST FROST OF THE SEASON POSSIBLE FRIDAY NIGHT...

A COLD CANADIAN AIR MASS WILL MOVE INTO THE SOUTHEAST UNITED STATES THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS INTO THE STATE. THIS WILL BRING IN MUCH DRIER AND COLDER AIR TO THE REGION. AS THE HIGH SETTLES OVER GEORGIA FRIDAY NIGHT...SKIES WILL BECOME MOSTLY CLEAR AND WINDS WILL BECOME NEAR CALM. THIS WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO DROP INTO THE MID AND UPPER 30S ACROSS MUCH OF NORTH GEORGIA. WHILE WIDESPREAD FROST IS NOT EXPECTED...PATCHY FROST WILL BE LIKELY...ESPECIALLY IN LOW LYING AND SHELTERED AREAS.

SENSITIVE PLANTS SHOULD BE COVERED OR BROUGHT INSIDE IF POSSIBLE BEFORE FRIDAY NIGHT.
