I realize we're off topic here, but...
BC/BS has something called a "rollback". The way it was explained to me is that you call them up & say that you want to do a rollback. They take you back to your beginning rate you started with at first. BC/BS also groups people into bundles. They take all the claims from the group and add them up. Then, that whole group gets raised. I must have been in a group with someone really sick a couple of years back. We were up to $650 a month, but we did a rollback and now we're down to $332. They didn't raise our rates this past June. I should have called and thanked them!! I dislike insurance companies doing this to people. They're forcing you to go to the higher deductable, but then you lose the 80/20% and have to pay out 60/40%. Crazy.

Just read on the internet news that Wal Mart is expanding it's $4.00 generic drug program to all of Fla. immediately and the rest of the US by the end of the year. There are now 314 generic drugs available.

Both Target and Walgreen have announced they will match nationwide.

For a lot of folks, this is good news.

It seems that the Tampa "Experiment" was an overwhelming success! If I recall correctly, in the two-three weeks of the program, they have had something like 37,000 new prescriptions filled. Remember this was just the Tampa area. Starting tomorrow, it will go state-wide in Fl. In January it will expand nationwide.
