What are we to think about the coach's dog being shot? I read about it in the Sentinel and it seems to me that it was a "coincidence" that this happens to a man who seems to be a thorn in the side of a certain someone.

Wow that's something to think about. Was the bullets meant for him or the dog? 2 Bullets-one hit the dog and the other hit the deck. Sounds like somebody has a real problem with this guy.

I hope someone steps up for the reward money. I believe that someone willing to shoot a dog like that would be willing to shoot a person just as easily.

I just now read this~ I didn't know about it. And I believe if someone is that heartless then they would hurt someone. What on earth are people thinking this day and time? Well evidentally, they aren't. Don't get me wrong. I dont compare an animals life to a human, but if they are that "sick" then there is no telling what went through their minds. It's sickening.

Thanks, I am going to do some more research on this before I comment too much althouth I will say that it takes someone pretty low to shoot at someones dog, specialy in their own yard.

I'm hearing now that the dog died after all, in spite of the veterinary care.

That's just wrong on so many levels. I hope law enforcement is taking this seriously and investigating the matter fully.

My grandpa told me long ago that around 1880 until about 1920 to shoot or harm anothers dog was about the same as whupping a neighbors child.Maybe it was taken as an insult to harm a dog.The score was very often settled with the use of firearms. WRJ

The dog did die and the owner is no longer in the area. Seems not only his dog was the victim to injustice. It is doubtful that there was too much investigating into this. It is really a sad situation.Go to Top of Page

If someone has a problem with me, let them take it out on me. If someone shoots at me or my dog in my yard they will be shot at in return, I believe they call that self defence.
