Did they have a run this Saturday? I saw a group of about 20 bikes go by Bubba's on Saturday.

The cabins look just like those sitting across from the Amoco station, wood type mobile homes. Nothing very s****y about that!

You can't say that s w a n k y word either!! I thought someone mentined that this would be a fancy place with a nice restaurant, etc. They were talking about how much money you had to have to own a expensive bike! So, I thought the cabins would be real nice.

Oh me Coosa...I thought you were sayin' something else...LOL!!

Yes, the cabins do look like those in town and the ones off of Town Creek, but they are really nice. When I was at the other job, I got to go inside of one in the park off Town Creek. They're rustic...(which I like)...and I thought it was absolutely beautiful!!

I think the cabins are great looking too. The whole enterprise looks promising. Good for them.

Those cabins off of lower trackrock chuch rd & pine ridge are just like those. We call them log trailors. They are nicer than seeing an RV parked there. They are more than our 1st house we bought!!
So, these bikers can buy a cabin & then come to it whenever they want? Are they for rent too??? Very kewl concept.

I have a catalog showing those trailers for sale, they are about $40,000 but I would think they would be very cold in the winter. We lived in a travel trailer one winter and almost froze to death.

I think they are built more like a mobile home...no wheels. So, they should be well-insulated. Looks like it's going to be a nice place.

Coosa, motorcycles are also very cold in winter. I doubt it would be used much in winter months like January and February.

I rode mine all winter, Paperclip can verify this. I have three different weights of outfits.
The other places I refered to, do not sell the cabins. They are like any other resort you might go to, just geared to motorcycles.

Do you have an electric vest and gloves for your winter-time riding? I've heard they can make a world of difference when riding in cold weather.

Electric vests or gloves? Wouldnt you get a shock if it got wet? I've heard of battery powered but not electric. Most dont have that fancy stuff. They are just die hard. Any weather-Any season-Any where.

My buddy had a set that plugged into the accessory socket on his GoldWing. I suppose it would be something used more in conjunction with the touring bikes instead.

My BIL in Canada rides a Honda Blackbird....he is fully "winterized" with plug in vest for warmth. It's got to be at least 58 degrees for me to even think about getting on the bike with hubby.

Ok I got this from the Christian Motorcycle group and thought you might be interested. It should probably go in the religous section but I didnt want to step on any toes.

Jesus The Biker

He was a lot like you and me. The government didn't like him. The church thought he was weird. His friends he had, denied him. He was persecuted by hypocrites. He hung around people like you and me, not the goody-two-shoes Pharisees.

Yes, if Jesus were on this earth in the flesh he would be next to you on his Harley telling you he loved you....enough to die for you.

Yes, if Jesus were a biker he would have ridden a Harley.

Yep you just wire in the the harness to your fuze block then just plug it in and go. The grips now are heated and that eliminates wires to the gloves. I came several mornings with it like 15 degrees this past winter. Now, I only work like two days on and two off so its not all that bad.
I don't have all mine hooked up but will have before next winter.
