THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE OVER THE FAR NORTHWEST
THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

.SYNOPSIS...
A COLD FRONT OVER THE MID U.S. WILL MOVE TO THE TENNESSEE VALLEY
LATE TONIGHT.

.PRIMARY HAZARD...
THE PRIMARY HAZARD FROM ANY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE DAMAGING
WINDS. HAIL WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE. THE BEST LOCATION FOR SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NORTH AND WEST OF CARTERSVILLE LATE THIS
AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING.

.DISCUSSION...
A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT OVER THE MID U.S. WILL AID IN THE
DEVELOPMENT OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER THAT AREA. SOME OF THOSE
STORMS COULD MOVE INTO FAR NORTHWEST GEORGIA LATE TODAY OR EARLY
TONIGHT. THE AIRMASS OVER GEORGIA WILL ONLY BE WEAKLY UNSTABLE WITH
CAPES LESS THAN 1000 AND LIFTED INDICES OF MINUS 1 TO MINUS 3. THE
BEST CHANCE WILL BE FOR THUNDERSTORMS...AT LESS THEN SEVERE LEVELS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY
THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY.
OTHERWISE NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
