It always makes me nervous when you say that.

I don't want everything to get too crowded.

Are these visitors or people who own homes here?

I really don't think they are all visitors. I think we need more restaurants. They just put the one drink, that waiters and waitresses hate to serve the most. Guess what it is? (Not alcohol or beer or wine)

I was going to eat there the other day and my boy was sound to sleep, so I just kept going home.

It looks like a nice place....too bad you got sick. I was looking forward to going there.

We were told that they did not allow brown bagging, so we have never tried it. You said you saw wine bottles? I am looking forward to trying Brothers.

YES, THEY ALLOW IT! TRUST ME.. HALF THE FOLK THERE WERE WITH BOTTLES IN HAND..

Cherry, it may have been our bad experience and ya always have different cooks and and such too. Do try it - you may like it. I felt guilty for hunny wanting to take me there tho after he got the bill for 34.52 just for him some pulled pork and one side of mashed tators and me a 10 oz prime rib that I only ate 1/4 of and mushrooms... a glass of tea and a water. thats perdy dang outragous and yes we did see the menu prices and those were the cheaper items other than hamburgers and we both agreed... we didnt wait for a table for 45 minutes and then wait on the waitress to come to our table for 20 minutes for no hamburger. It werent the waitresses fault. The glasses were never emptied and the biscuits they serve with honey butter were good.

Wow that is pretty high for around here! And you had to wait for 45 minutes! Monets has a pretty good prime rib for $12.95. We take our own drinks, so we don't have to pay for that.

Well we usually spend about $16 a night and that is with tax. Of course, we can go to Wendys's for a lot less, butGary has given up french fries and I have too.

Fries were on the list of the 5 worst foods you can eat. My husband got his triglycerides down from 500 to 200 on this diet. I have not thrown up from a meal in about 30 years, thank goodness. Oh earlier I asked a question about what do waitresses hate to serve more than any other? Drinkwise, that is. The answer is "hot tea"

Well that and the cooks bad food that appears right to the waitreses eye but she gets the blame and fuss for the cooks food! Yeah, hot tea was one of the things I dreaded hearing along with hot cocoa.

They had a news thing on today about waitresses and waiter. It was pretty funny. I would be scared to treat a waitress mean or not tip. Never telling what they would do. One followed the customer home and toilet papered his house and worse!!

Yea Coosa, you don't want to tick off waiters or waitresses. They used to use "waiters revenge" at this hotel I worked at. 3-4 drops of visine in the coffee or tea. 3 hrs later, they said they'd be on the toilet. I guess it works like a laxitive. ?? Mean, very mean.
If someone has to do that to another, it's not worth having that job or being in that situation.

Coosa, they changed owners of what used to be "Cross Creek" there next to Roses.
Doc, I hope you called the health dept & told them both of you were sick. They will go out there & check things out.

Schmooze...I thought that was a Boca cocktail....That place has lots of money but have you noticed that lots of people with lots of money are notoriously cheap?

Oh, that is why they allow brown bagging now. Well, Fannin county needed that. The only place that allows it is the riverplace out on Aska road. We use to eat there 3 or 4 times a week, we only lived 5 miles away. i wonder how that place it doing? a guy named Tim owned it and did the cooking.

Being a waitress, I have noticed that . We had a guy come in all the time that owned a big business and lots of land here. We always left $1 for a table of 6. There is a certain race car driver that does not tip well. I guess that is why the girls at Monets fight over us. I just gave out the last of my christmas tips to the lady that took last week off. Gave her candy too. I meant to say HE left a dollar for a table of 6.
