Gray, I know what you mean about the tartar, I am so leery of that, . I only will eat fresh fish raw. Just like the Chinese & Japanese have done . Shadow. Yes, The seared Tuna is fantastic.

I will never forget the Marquis sign I saw outside of a steak restaurant a few years ago in Myrtle Beach. I still laugh when I think of it.

Joan said that dos greckos will be open in about a month. Mr. Miami is still here in blairsville. Monets was mobbed last night, no booths available. Looks like they are moving stuff out of Mike's seafood. I guess the new place will be open soon.

Saw Maddy and the little Maddies at Monets last night. I gave little Maddy some candy. Well, the child is honest, she said, oh, this is the kind we don't like!! Out of the mouths of babes! I use to love that candy when I was a kid, pure sugar. Monets was full, everyone took their SO out last night.

My husband got it, I have never like prime rib. I have to have meat really well done. He said it was good. They had red and white tablecloths on all the tables. Joan put us on a list, so we did not have to wait like everyone else.

Coosa you can get prime rib however cooked you'd like.

My Ex likes rare and I like medium well. It's just a different part of the meat. I get the outside and he gets the middle where it's still red.

Prime rib is the best!

I have tasted it and I just don't like it. They have it quite often at Monets now. He gets that a lot or he orders salmon. If he has gained weight, he goes for the chicken finger salad.

Well we went to Brother's for lunch/dinner and it was not good.

It's usually wonderful, I want to state that.

Not sure what happened, but we hardly had any it was not as usual.

I haven't been on for a couple of days, so I'd like to report that Valentines eve we went to the Chefs Table and it was excellent. We talked to the owner/chef awhile and learned that he'd been at the Elf School and at Watercrest and now out on his own. He should have his pour license in a few weeks. But you can brownbag.

Middle,

The chef at THE CHEF'S TABLE, and his wife, the hostess, used to own THE ELF SCHOOL.

They had to give up The Elf School because there was a septic permit problem, or something like that, the the owner of the building would not fix it.

So, they were out of a restaurant for a while.

Gosh, I spoke to him on the phone once, about brown bagging. He sounded very nice. I wondered why the Elf school closed.

No, I only wondered why, now you have told me, thanks. The owners of the old Steve's in Hiawassee now owns the cookie jar here in Blairsville. We need a good restaurant here.

Mike is working like mad to be open Monday, the 20th. TWT group has made plans for Tuesday, but we shift to the mexican restaurant if Mike doesn't make.
We hope he does as much as he does..............lol
