We went to Monets' for our Christmas Lunch and Seen Nelly and her Hubby and lots of people I knew. Finally one of the girls told me I should just stand up and make it known I was in the building! LOL! Well I couldn't help that they were there and I knew um! LOL! Nelly looked so happy and her Hubby with his sweet smile! Awwwww!

Yep, what you see is what you get! He is a very good man. Would do anything for anyone.

I've seen him take patients in knowing they didn't have money due to circumstances and not charge them a dime or maybe 10 dollars or so.

So Yep! He's REAL! LOL!

Cherry...don't know if you've tried the Biscuit House, but their's is really good!
Also, the Cookie jar is doing breakfast now...(buffet style maybe?)...I haven't tried it yet, so can't really say.
Other than those 2, I have no idea...

I agree with Topy, the Biscuit House has good food. Not fancy, not a big place, but good food. DoC's hunny took Joy and I there the last time we were up.

Sawmill is good also.

We try to go to the Sawmill when we are up there. The food has always been good when we are there. Haven't tried it since the new people took over so don't know about the quality of the food now.

DoC's hunny took us the the Biscuit house the last time we were up there and it was good.

Good information, where is the Griddle and the Buscuit House? I've not seen them.

Early this morning we went to the Sawmill and it was fabulous.

Maddy is right they don't have hash browns and they are fabulous, really good.

Got the breakfast sampler and dipped all in the gravy. It is so good there.

The griddle is in the shopping center across from the post office. The biscuit house, you pass everytime you come to town. As you are heading into town, you will pass Rick's rental, then a propane gas place, a tile place, then at the corner of meeks road and 129, you will see a little white house, called the biscuit house. (On the right hand side) I hear that the sawmill is excellent!

Cherry, the Biscuit House is small and would be easy to miss, but the breakfast we had was good.

Coosa...Elizabeth saw you at Monet's last night, but didn't have a chance to come over and speak to you. She went with her Pappaw and his wife for the hospital Christmas party. Anyways, she told me this morning to be sure and tell you she says 'HELLO'!!

We're going to Brasstown to meet my book club there. Husbands are invited tonight. No book talk, just fun. Not that talking about the book isn't fun, but you know what I mean!!

Coosa, our office party is at Monet's Thursday night, but we're not big enough to close the place down! LOL!

So if you're there, stop by the back room and say hi!

I will be there! We went to Shoebooties last night, it was full. They had changed the booths and tables all around, but still had the two great cooks, George (owner) and Jessie. I had forgotten how good the soup and bread was. It was a great meal!! Gary got christmas chicken and it was wonderful. I have a big to go box for my lunch today.

Coosa, what are you and Gary doing for Christmas dinner? When you and Gary go to Monets on Friday night, be sure to order something that you will have lots of leftovers so you will have something to eat on Christmas Eve.
