Special Events

Tour De Georgia - Stage 6 / Night Before The Climb
Stage 6 of the Tour De Georgia started at Blairsville's Meeks Park and wandered across the county, looped back around the Square, and then a grueling trek to the top of Brasstown Bald, Georgia's highest point.   The Blairsville Downtown Development Authority, Seasons Inn, and the Blairsville-Union Chamber of Commerce got together and put together a special Night Before The Climb event with outdoor dining, live music, two of the racing teams signing autographs, and other fun things.  Did you get a chance to go?  Or do you want to revisit it?

Christmas in Blairsville

Hometown Halloween on the Square
The Downtown Development Authority, the Downtown Revitalization Group that operates under it, the Union County Historical Society, and area businesses all got together and made this year's Halloween a special event.  It seemed everyone from the county (and beyond) was there.  Did you miss it?  Or do you want to revisit it?

Memorial Day in Blairsville 2007
